The research activity of Prof. Lamiae Ghaouti are mainly focusing on the following aspects regarding arable and horticultural crops:

1. Identification and collection of accessions
2. The analysis of intra and inter genetic variability based on the agro-morphological and molecular traits and the tolerance to biotic et abiotic stresses
3. The analysis of mecanisms of farm management and seeds flow
4. The design of an efficient agricultural systems regarding the productivity, quality, pests and diseases management as well as the management of resources, mainly, water and soil

The cited research aspects are mainly contributing to the valorization and promotion of agrobiodiversity and to foster the implementation of efficient breeding programs. 

These activities were led in several national (CNRST, MCRDV …) and international projects within different calls (ARIMnet, Prima2, PMARS, Agropolis…).
