The contribution of IAV Hassan II is mainly concentrated in the WP1 and focuses on:

1. An Exhaustive survey in the main areas of strawberry cultivation in Morocco ( Gharb and Loukkos / north of morocco)  to highlight; the strawberry varieties used and their importance, origin, mode of cultivation, main diseases and pests, the actual distribution of the different plant pathogen species and their importance on different varieties of strawberry , IPM pest management practices  ( biological , chemical ..etc. ) , pesticide regulation, yield ..Etc.
2. Diagnosing diseases especially fungi of economic importance in Morocco: Isolation, culture in the case of non-obligatory fungi, identification by means of morphological characters of the fungi and molecular characterization if necessary.R
3. Resistance evaluation of commercial strawberry varieties or cultivars coming from breeding and selection for disease resistance against the main pathogens through trials on potted plants under controlled conditions and evaluation of disease resistance under natural conditions of infection. 

IAV is also taking in charge within the dissemination work package  (WP5) through the development of the Dissemination and Communication Plan.
